Discovering the Bay Point Marriott Resort at Panama City Beach, Florida has been one of the most rewarding experiences. We try to return at least once every year, not necessarily always in the summer months. The staff are extraordinarily pleasant and accommodating to every need or request — really! The atmosphere is not only beautiful, but quiet and peaceful. Our senses are stirred at every level. Besides being spacious and very elegantly appointed, including soft and luxurious terry bathrobes, every guest room has some sort of view with or without a patio/balcony. Upon arrival I always feel like I’m entering a tranquil oasis. The Serenity spa located on the resort property offers tranquility and rejuvenation — LOVE IT! I always schedule at least one customized facial and a full one-hour massage. There is an extensive menu of spa services offered at the Serenity spa. Our next stay is already being planned for this fall.

We loved, loved, loved this resort. The property was clean & well maintained and we lacked for nothing! The staff was courteous, efficient & friendly. The pools are wonderful and the view perfect! I would highly recommend this resort for families and couples. It was a wonderful holiday trip!!

Thank you for a wonderful visit and SAVING our visit to Panama City. We had booked ourselves into another hotel the previous night, and it was a nightmare. Miss Mimi at the Front Desk was more than accommodating and sympathetic, and found us a perfect suite in which to relax while we enjoyed the resorts amenities. We ferried to Shell Island, golfed, relaxed, and enjoyed meals at your various restaurants. Our room #1366 was more than we could have hoped for… and we truly made some very nice memories, having stayed at this resort. We hope to return again in the future.

I really enjoyed my last stay at Bay Point Marriott Golf Resort & Spa. Although, it is only a few hours from Atlanta, it felt like I was in another world! The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I can’t wait to return!

Whenever I had a question, Heather, at the front desk was always more than willing to accommodate me in any facet she could. The Bay Point Marriott is beautiful! I have had an amazing stay! I have been staying at the hotel for 3 weeks and unfortunately have to leave at the end of the week. I say unfortunately because I have been treated so well, what an amazing place. The food is delicious, the view of the bay is unbelievable, and most importantly, the staff is incredible. My family and I stayed for the Labor Day weekend. The best hotel we have ever stayed at. The staff was so friendly and polite from the front desk to the housekeeping staff. The private beach was great, we had so much fun. Lime’s Bar & Grill but we will not miss it next time. The only complaint we have was the breakfast bar. We loved all the pools, they were all great and we had a wonderful time. You don’t even have to leave the hotel if you don’t want to. Everything you could possibly need and want you have there. See you in our next trip!

I stayed at the Bay Point Marriott for seven nights with my wife. The resort was very clean and the staff was very attentive (especially the front desk). The only drawback was the golfing. Even though we were guests of the resort, we were told there would be an extra charge, so I brought two golf bags for my wife and I especially for this trip to avoid paying the extra fee. When we arrived, I found out that resort guests were furnished golf clubs if they so choose. We also wanted to play on the Nicklaus Course, but was informed that it would be closed for maintenance. Overall, it was a very nice stay, but do check well in advance with the golf shop and hotel staff if you plan on playing any golf while you are there.

We stayed at the Bay Point Marriott at Legends Edge last month and had an excellent stay. The resort was great and had plenty of activities for the kids as well as the surrounding area. We enjoyed the stay so much, we booked a week for next summer. See you in 2010!

Stayed 4 days with my family and had a nice time. The resort was lovely and the staff was very accommodating with a few requests we had. The private beach at Shell Island was amazing. It reminded me of going to the beach when I was a child… few people, beautiful, clean beaches and pristine waters. The only drawback was that the boat only ran from 10 am to 4 pm. It would have been great to go out earlier in the morning especially to be able to stay later in the evening when it’s cooler and to see the sun go down. I really liked the resort being away from the hustle and bustle of the main strip. It was still a convenient location to easily get to other attractions and restaurants.

We had a wonderful time at Bay Point Marriott. You never have to leave the resort because everything is right there! The food at the main restaurant was very good- we did not have an opportunity to try Lime’s. My kids loved the bay side beach- plenty of sand for play during the day and fun finding hermit crabs at night. We LOVED having the free boat ride to Shell Island! Even though we weren’t in Panama City Beach, you can take a 15 min boat ride and be on a beautiful, peaceful gulf beach. At one point, we were the only family on the beach! The 4 pools that we swam in were great! My kids loved pool hopping! Our rooms were clean and comfy, great service, friendly staff! We will be heading back to Bay Point Marriott first chance to get! Can’t say enough good things about Bay Point Marriott! Stayed for a weekend with our 3 small children and with everything right there on site, Mom was able to relax! If you want to hit the beach & play in the gulf, you can go to Shell Island on a free shuttle boat provided by Bay Point Marriott or drive 10 minutes to the beach! They have a kids camp and “Dive In” movies with free popcorn. Pool side bar is a plus! Rooms clean and comfy. Had a problem with loud neighbors and the hotel gladly switched our room. 3 pools, 2 hot tubs and 2 restaurants right there. There is a small bay-side beach with enough sand to keep the little ones happy. Got a good military rate. Staff extremely attentive and when they respond with “my pleasure,” they really seem to mean it!

Although I was there on a business trip, there were plenty of opportunities to take advantage of the pools, beach, and dock for some fun. Upon our arrival, my family and I were upgraded to a suite which we really appreciated. The property was beautiful and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. The only downside is that this property is not located on Panama City Beach. Otherwise, our stay was wonderful!
